Swedish Massage

The most widely recognized and commonly used category of massage is the Swedish massage. Swedish massage uses five styles of strokes. As the best-known type of bodywork performed today, one of the primary goals of the Swedish massage technique is to relax the entire body. Swedish massage is exceptionally beneficial for increasing the level of oxygen in the blood, decreasing muscle toxins, improving circulation and flexibility while easing tension. Swedish massage has shown to be helpful in reducing pain, joint stiffness, and improving function in patients with osteoarthritis of the knee over a period of eight weeks. The style is also referred to as "classic massage".

Deep Tissue Massage

This concentrated therapy combines a customized, full-body massage with warming and cooling thermal products to provide deep muscle pain relief from injuries and chronic conditions.

With focus in one of three key areas, deep tissue massage is ideal for anyone who suffers from chronic pain or limited mobility due to athletic training, repetitive movements, and overuse.

3

Reiki Massage

Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that promotes healing. It is based on the idea that an unseen 'life force' flows through us. If one's 'life force' is low, then we are more likely to get sick or feel stress, and if it is high, we are more capable of being happy and healthy.

This treatment feels like a wonderful glowing radiance that flows through you and around you. Reiki treats the whole person including body, emotions and mind creating various beneficial effects that include relaxation and feelings of tranquility and wellbeing.

Craniosacral massage

Craniosacral massage is a type of bodywork therapy that focuses on the skull, neck and back. It involves gentle manipulation of the skull and spine to improve mobility in these areas, as well as relieve stress and promote relaxation. Craniosacral massage therapists use their hands to apply pressure to certain points on the skull and spine while listening for changes in the body. This helps them identify areas where release and relaxation are needed.
